Russia is still not well served by low cost airlines.
One of the reasons is probably the distance, although the main reason might be the strict visa procedures, making travel there difficult.

No low cost airlines link the UK with Russia, so your best bet for a direct flight would be British Airways.

Otherwise, you can fly to Germany or Norway and then fly low cost to Russia from there.
